Vogalonga timing + logistics

Pick your role — rower / paddler, or watching. The tool returns timing, course, registration window, and the best watch spots.

What this solves

The Vogalonga is a 30 km non-competitive rowing event around Venice on Pentecost Sunday. ~1,500 boats participate every year. Tourists often arrive not realizing it's happening — or arrive wanting to row, only to find the registration window closed. This tool returns when to log and the right logistical read.

How to read the result

"Pentecost Sunday" is the date of the event in any given year (Easter + 49 days). "Course" is the 30 km loop through the lagoon. "Registration" tells you when and where to register. "Watch spots" lists the best places on shore to see the boats pass.

For watchers, the start (San Marco basin at 09:00) is the most spectacular. The finishing stretch through the Cannaregio canal is the most photogenic.
