Last vaporetto home
Tell the tool which stop, which day, and which season. It returns the last regular-line departure and a clear "after midnight" call using the N1 or N2 night lines.
What this solves
A dinner that runs late, a concert at La Fenice, a Carnevale party that ends at 02:00 — and you don't know if the vaporetto is still running. The last regular line is around 23:00-23:30 in summer, earlier in winter. After that, N1 and N2 run every 30 minutes between 00:30 and 05:00 — but only in the warm season. This tool returns the last departure and what to do if you miss it.
How to read the result
"Last regular line" is the last standard daytime service (lines 1, 4.1, 4.2, 5.1, 6, etc.) from or to the stop you chose. "Night line" is the N1 / N2 service that takes over after midnight, only during the warm season. If the night line is unavailable, your fallback is a water taxi from Consorzio Motoscafi (€90-€120).
Limitations
FAQ
Does my pass cover N1 / N2?
Yes. ACTV urban multi-day passes cover the night lines. Rolling Venice also covers them.
Can I walk home at 02:00?
In central Venice, yes — the city is well-lit and walkable. The issue is luggage, mobility, or stops on the outer islands. Plan accordingly.
What if it's late November?
The night line shuts down in late October and resumes only at the start of the next summer timetable (mid-June). Between those dates, the last boat is the regular line.
